Transitioning to our New Parishioner Database and Online Giving Platform:
ParishStaq will replace our current platform ParishSOFT as our new digital hub for parish information, registration, updates, and financial giving. It’s a dynamic Catholic Church management system that will also Integrate with our new payment and giving software: PushPay.
The ParishStaq package features an all-in-one parish management software that includes the entire suite of Catholic software: Giving, Apps, and ChMs. ParishStaq helps dioceses and individual parishes grow into the future. This overall package offered the best combination of ease of use along with functionality for parishes of the tools reviewed by the Diocese’s parishioner-based committee.
PushPay Giving System:
PushPay is an online giving platform within the ParishStaq package. In time, it will replace our current online giving platforms like PayPal and SQUARE. PushPay provides a wide variety of giving options including frequency of gifts and types of collections. PushPay accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as ACH (checking or savings accounts) gifts. Parishioners can log in and update their giving preferences at any time! What’s Next:
- We will be starting with PushPay enrollment. This is the first step during the transition to ParishStaq.
- If you would like to keep giving by envelopes or cash in the offertory basket, there is nothing you need to do at this time.
- If you currently give online (or would like to start), you are invited to enroll in PushPay.
- ACH/Credit Card autopay members: For those enrolled in our 4th Tuesday autopay via ACH bank transfer or credit card payment, it is up to you if you would like to switch to PushPay. If you would like to make the switch, please call or email the STA Business Office and we will stop your 4th Tuesday autopay.
- If you do not know the method of payment you are currently using or would like to discuss the options – please contact the Business Office.
- PayPal users: If you have set up recurring payments with PayPal, you will need to login to your PayPal account to cancel that. Please be sure to stop your PayPal recurring payments before setting up payments in PushPay to avoid double payments. (Please make the switch from PayPal to PushPay by June 15, 2024)
- SQUARE users: If you have set up recurring payments with SQUARE, you will need to login to your SQUARE account to cancel that. Please be sure to stop your SQUARE recurring payments before setting up payments in PushPay to avoid double payments. (Please make the switch from SQUARE to PayPal by June 15, 2024)
- ACH/Credit Card autopay members: For those enrolled in our 4th Tuesday autopay via ACH bank transfer or credit card payment, it is up to you if you would like to switch to PushPay. If you would like to make the switch, please call or email the STA Business Office and we will stop your 4th Tuesday autopay.
- Since we don’t keep your credit card or banking information on file, we cannot simply transfer your information to the new system. Plus, having you create your new account and enter your own information and log-in credentials helps protect your data.
- Thank you so much for helping us with this important transition. The new parish management software is a big improvement that will save time for our staff, allow us better data management, and streamline communication.
