Many small groups are starting this fall and you’re invited to become part of one!
Once you have participated in Alpha, St. Thomas Aquinas has many ways for you to take the next step to continuing growing, learning, and developing friendships with others who love God. Look at the opportunities below and prayerfully consider taking part. The content and leader are listed for each group. You may also contact Jennifer Ludtke to learn more. Most groups begin in mid-September, and will be filled ‘first come, first served.’
Tuesday mornings (10-11:30 AM) with Carol Wright, (room for 4-5 new members)
This group meets at Carol’s home near University Hospital starting in mid-October. The group is using The Journey 2, which explores Jesus and His community. It is not necessary to have participated in part 1 to join this group. For more information, contact Carol Wright.
Wednesday mornings (9-10:30 AM), (room for 4-5 new members)
This group meets at the parish every other Wednesday morning starting in late September. They will begin the year reading a book on the saints. Using the saints as examples and inspiration, the group will also discuss their own journeys as Christians and their call to evangelize. For more information, contact Jennifer Ludtke.
Wednesday evenings (7-8:30 PM) with Beverly and Tom Hartberg, (room for 4-5 new members)
This group rotates meeting at the homes of group members, and is using the Wild Goose series, a fascinating and impactful look at the Holy Spirit. For more information contact Beverly Hartberg.
Tuesday evenings (6-7 PM) Marian Prayer Cenacle, (all are welcome)
This prayer group meets in the St. Thomas Aquinas library and is based on the Marian Movement of Priests. The Cenacle says a rosary dedicated to the intentions of Our Lady and to invoke the Holy Spirit, and reads from her various Locutions and their meaning in these times. Thursday evenings (6:30-8:00 PM), NEW GROUP FORMING (room for 12-15 people)
This group will use the Wild Goose series, a fascinating and impactful look at the Holy Spirit. The group will meet at St. Thomas Aquinas starting September 19. Contact Mary Rowlette for more information.
