Prayer for Parish Renewal
Father, as we prepare
for our parish renewal,
open our hearts and minds
so that we might receive your word
with great joy.
Pour out your Spirit upon us.
Grant us a new vision of your glory,
a new experience of your power,
a new faithfulness to your word,
and a new passion for your mission.
May your love grow within us and among us.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Spanish speakers go with Mari to the social hall where Mari will give her talk in Spanish “Evangelization of the laity”
English speakers stay in church and are led in a prayerful experience of Lectio Divina.
7:30 - 8:00 PM
Mari will do the same presentation in English while the Spanish speakers are led in a prayerful experience of Lectio Divina.
8:00 - 8:15 PM
Closing prayer together in the church, with bilingual song and prayer.
We will end with social time together.
Tuesday, May 10
6:30 - 6:50 PM
Begin together (both Spanish and English speakers) in church for prayer.
6:50 - 7:15 PM
Spanish speakers go with Mari to the social hall where Mari will give her talk in Spanish.
English speakers stay in church and STA staff will lead the ‘workshop’ portion of the evening.
7:15 - 7:40 PM
Mari comes to church and gives a talk to English speakers.
Spanish-speaking STA staff will lead the workshop portion of the evening in Spanish in the social hall.
7:40 - 8:00 PM
All of us will come to church for a time of Adoration together, placing our lives and our stories before the Lord
8:00 PM
Closing prayer together in the church, with bilingual song and evangelization prayer?

We have remembered our call and recounted God’s work in our lives. Yet we are called not only as individuals but as a community. We need the voices of everyone in our parish family to help set the renewed vision for the parish’s evangelization efforts for the next 2-3 years. Fr. Bart would love to have your voice at the table!
Mari Pablo grew up in a devout, always supportive, boisterous Hispanic family in South Florida. She graduated from Franciscan University with a double major in theology and psychology; she also holds a Master of Theology from the Augustine Institute. She has worked in youth ministry for over 15 years, including being a youth minister in New Orleans, and a high school theology teacher in Miami. She is currently serving parishes and universities across the country with The Evangelical Catholic.
