Our Lenten Journey this year begins with Ash Wednesday on February 14. We invite you to participate in one of our Masses that day, at 8:30 AM, 12:10 PM, and 6:30 PM. The Mass at 6:30 is bilingual. Ashes will be distributed at all three Masses.
Our Lenten theme this year is “Inviting Jesus to Be a Part of Our Lives!” One way to begin to do this is to read the daily Gospel readings and let Jesus speak to you through them. The readings for the week are on the last page of our bulletin each week. They are also available both as text and audio recordings on-line at www.usccb.org/readings.
During Lent there will also be opportunities to celebrate God’s Mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In addition to our regular confession times on Saturdays from 3:15-4:15 PM and Sundays from 9:00-9:45 AM, confession will be offered on Tuesdays, February 20-March 13 and March 27, from 6:00-6:45 PM. To make it easier for you to receive the Sacrament, we will have two priests available on Saturday and Sunday, one in the confessional and one in the library. On Tuesday, March 20, confessions will also be offered from 6:00-7:30 PM during the Lenten Evening of Reflection.
A wealth of on-line resources are also available:
